Vol. 1 Objectives of "InterfaithPilgrimage forPeace and Life"

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II next year, the Japanese Buddhist order of Nipponzan Myohoji is planning an eight-month long "Interfaith Pilgrimage for Peace and Life" from Europe to Asia. This journey will be a visible aspect of international movement of nonviolence.

Vol.2 VOICES from Auschwitz

Interfaith Pilgrimage for peace and Life 1995 started in Auschwitz last December. Having accomplished a Convocation at the ex-concentration camp site, now the pilgrimage is walking through Eastern Europe, hoping to get to Israel on February 1st.

Vol. 3, 4 VOICES from Eastern Europe....

Almost four months have passed since the Interfaith Pilgrimage for Peace and Life 1995 started walking from Auschwitz (now called Oswiecim) to Hiroshima. During that time, the pilgrimage walked and traveled in Croatia, Bosnia, Israel, Jordan, Iraq and India. (See the route map for details.)
